12.2008 - New Country Manager Germany
Vital People Group appointed Volker Brand as Country Manager for Germany. Volker Brand possesses more than 20 years experience leading well-known, innovative companies in the medical field, including emergency medical aid. He is currently involved with HeartSine Technologies from Dublin Ireland as Vice President EMEA. Volker has been Sales Director at Medtronic and a leadership role at Dideco/Sorin. He also headed up Product Management at Althin Medical and Electromedics USA. Volker Brand has completed a Business Degree (Chamber of Commerce and Industry), a study in the field of Marketing (University of Augsburg), and finished his training in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at the LM University Munich and Community Hospital in Neuperlach-Munich. Volker Brand has also acted as the European Consultant to the American Heart Association for over 5 years. Out of his office in Friedberg Germany he will start to initiate collaborations with health insurers, health care providers and fitness providers.
